Boxed Knife Sets

These superb sets are presented in beech boxes with faux leather insets to the lids. All are handcrafted to the highest standards by Thiers-Issard in France.

In 1884 Pierre Thiers, master cutler and razor maker, founded the firm of Thiers-Issard, at that time purchasing the ‘**** Sabatier’ trademark from Gabriel Sabatier, who had registered it in 1860. In the early 1950’s the ‘Elephant’ motif was incorporated into the logo where it remains to this day. All products are made using the very best traditional methods and designs, particular attention being given to the final polishing, hand-sharpening and final inspection processes.

The results speak for themselves - each of these boxed sets is intended to be an enduring and lasting item and, for that reason, they make the perfect gift for weddings, anniversaries, retirements and any occasion where a lasting and beautiful memento is desired. We sincerely believe they are the best kitchen knives being made today.
