Sabatier Knives UK is a concern (part of The Invisible Edge Ltd.) formed solely to promote and distribute the superb range of kitchen knives produced in Thiers, France by Thiers-Issard.

Our accustomed area of business is the highly specialised field of straight razors and we operate another website devoted to this at www.thiers-issard.co.uk. We are also closely associated with three other specialist straight razor websites, namely www.theinvisibleedge.co.uk, www.dovorazors.com and www.razorsharpening.co.uk.

So - why were we tempted out of our niche into this much broader market? After all, several companies use the ‘Sabatier’ trade-name on their kitchen knives - so why go with Thiers-Issard? The answer, to us, is quite simple. From our knowledge of how Thiers-Issard work, our appreciation of their truly outstanding straight razors and the quality of their steel, finish and, most importantly durability, we decided that these ‘Four-Star Elephant’ Sabatier knives (this logo can only be used by Thiers-Issard) were certainly amongst the best-made and -finished kitchen knives we had ever seen.

We value craftsmanship - take a look at some of our razor restorations at The Invisible Edge. We value quality - just feel the heft of one of these TI-Sabatier knives to know what we mean. Above all, we really and honestly value customer satisfaction. We want our  customers to return to us again and again - as our razor customers do - not because we are ‘the cheapest’ or ‘the fastest delivery’ (we’re neither!) bur simply because we are the best at what we do.

So - what do we promise you when you deal with us? Again, quite simple: we do our level best to ensure that each and every one of customers feel like they are our ONLY customer. We’re far too small to have a ‘call centre’; we’re far too small to have a ‘customer services department’ and we certainly do not possess any slick salespeople.

So I’m afraid that all you will get when you deal with us is personal attention, good advice and, if we don’t know a thing we know a man who does so there’s no waffle either. Sorry!
