This is a 6"/15cm cook's knife from our Traditional Forged Range, and has as a stainless steel blade with an olivewood handle. Olive wood has a beautiful grain and although it is a robust wood, these knives should not be placed in a dishwasher, but washed carefully by hand to keep the handle looking their best. Olive wood is a natural wood and so the look of handle of each knife will vary. A good general purpose knife which would make the perfect start to a collection - useful for chopping, dicing and slicing all types of fruit and vegetables. We are selling this knife as a second as the Thiers Issard trade mark, 4 stars and an elephant, is less distinct than it could be. The knife is perfect in all other respects.
