This 25cm sharpening steel from our Traditional Forged Range is made from stainless steel and has a beautiful olive wood handle. Our Sabatier knife sharpener is perfect for day to day maintenance of a sharp edge on your knives. Total length 37cm.

Olive wood has a beautiful grain and although it is a robust wood, this sharpening steel should not be placed in a dishwasher, but washed carefully by hand to keep the handle looking their best. Olive wood is a natural wood and so the look of handle of each knife will vary.

All knives will benefit from periodic honing and stropping and we stock a strop specifically designed for knives. Alternatively we recommend that you consider occasionally treating your knives to professional sharpening. This is normally quite inexpensive.
